Opening • Welcome to The Players’ Showcase
Host welcomes the audience, introduces the concept and explains how the competition works. Introduction and recognition of the eight judges and four musical divisions.
Round 01 • Drums & Percussion
Four finalists perform. Each contestant receives up to 5 minutes for their solo performance, with remaining time for introductions, transitions and brief commentary.
Round 02 • Bass, Guitar & Strings
Four finalists showcase their individual musicianship, technique, creativity and stage presence.
Partner Recognition & Intermission
15-minute intermission. Sponsor and partner recognition, brief judge commentary, DJ music, refreshments and audience break.
Round 03 • Keys
Four finalists perform on piano, keyboard, organ and/or synthesizer.
Round 04 • Woodwind & Brass
Four finalists complete the individual solo portion of the competition.
Introducing The Players’ Challenge
Host reveals the surprise second phase. The 16 finalists are reorganized into four groups, with one musician representing each competition division.
The Players’ Challenge • Band 1
The DJ drops two unexpected tracks. Musicians must immediately listen, adapt and play together as a unit.
The Players’ Challenge • Band 2
Two surprise tracks. No advance song list or rehearsal.
The Players’ Challenge • Band 3
Two surprise tracks testing chemistry, instinct, versatility and musicianship.
The Players’ Challenge • Band 4
Final group takes on two surprise tracks.
Final Judges’ Evaluation
Judges complete final scoring. Host and DJ engage the audience while scores are finalized. Additional sponsor acknowledgments may occur here.
Finale • Four Divisions. Four Winners.
Winners announced by category, prizes presented, closing remarks, judge and partner acknowledgments, and final group recognition.
